Jesus Meets Us There

Lord at the alter we give You all
Our burdens, all our cares, all
Our dreams, all our hopes, all our
Children , all our friends, all our
Sickness. Everything we have to
Bear and in return all You ask is
Bring them all to You and leave
Them there !!
Oh the joy that floods our souls,
The day we went to the alter and
Trusted and believed in You, and let
These burdens go because You
Meet us there and took all these cares !
Thank You Jesus for the alter,
Next to You it is our second
Friend, because we know you are
Going to meet us there, and
Answer every prayer!
Sometimes at the alter, the
Answer is no, sometimes it's yes,
But Jesus we love and trust You
Because You know us and You
Know what is best.
It's a blessing to go to the alter
Whether it's at church or home,
Because we know You will meet us
There when we feel alone.
What a privilege it is to carry
Our Burdens to Jesus in prayer
And leave them there!
Thank You Jesus for loving us
Enough to care and never failing
to meet us there!
Lord we give you the Praise,
The Glory and the Honor for always
Being there, In Jesus' Name, Amen !
